RIO DE JANEIRO: Santos hit three goals in eight minutes on Sunday as they beat Fluminense 3-1 for their seventh win in a row to keep the Brazilian title race alive.
Cruzeiro, who would have wrapped up the championship with three matches to spare if they had won and Santos lost, beat Parana 3-1 away but were forced to put the celebrations on hold for at least another week.
