DUBLIN: Republic of Ireland coach Brian Kerr paid tribute to the skills of Damien Duff after the Chelsea winger produced a brilliant solo goal in a 3-0 win over Canada at Lansdowne Road on Monday.
Duff picked up the ball deep in his own half and held off three defenders before slamming the ball past Canadian goalkeeper Lars Hirschfeld after 23 minutes to set Ireland on the way to victory in the friendly international.
