Malaysian pair stun world champions, Choong Hann in the semis, too


PETALING JAYA: The ace Malaysian doubles pair of Choong Tan Fook-Lee Wan Wah continued with their impressive comeback to top level badminton when they carved out a sensational straight games win over South Korean number one Ha Tae-kwon-Kim Dong-moon to reach the semi-finals of the US$250,000 China Open badminton championships at Tianhe Gymnasium yesterday. 

And there was cheer in the singles as top national number one Wong Choong Hann made it into the semi-finals as well.
