Zamzai now a better boxer after bitter lesson in Manchester

MALAYSIAN boxer Mohamed Zamzai Azizi learnt a harsh lesson in the semi-final of the light flyweight (48kg) at the 2002 Manchester Commonwealth Games.

The 23-year-old from Machang, Kota Baru had a five-point lead at 16-11 with just a few minutes left on the clock but let it slip to lose 18-19 to England's Darren Langley at the Manchester Evening News Arena. And he had to settle for the bronze.
