LIVERPOOL: Gerard Houllier has vowed to continue his bid to transform Liverpool's style of play, despite a defeat by Manchester United that represented a crushing blow to his side's championship hopes.
A 2-1 defeat at Anfield on Sunday left Houllier's men 13 points adrift of leaders Arsenal and even the Frenchman admits it will now be virtually impossible for Liverpool to close the gap.
