PARIS: Paris Saint Germain closed the gap on the leaders with a 1-0 win at Nantes on Saturday on what proved to be a historic day for Le Mans, who registered their first ever win in the French First Division.
The promoted club gained maximum points for the first time since their creation in 1985, beating Metz 2-0 with goals from Laurent Peyrelade and Daniel Cousin.
