LONDON: Briton Richard Burns’ World Rally Championship hopes ended yesterday after he was taken to hospital and ruled out of the season-ending British event, his Peugeot team said.
Peugeot said Burns, a former champion who is five points off the championship lead in a four-way battle for the title, had fainted on Sunday evening.
