Hockey players who went to dance hall in Poland get one-year ban


KUALA LUMPUR: The 10 national junior players, who breached discipline during an invitational tournament in Poland in August, were each slapped with a harsh 12-month suspension by the MHF Disciplinary Board yesterday. 

The 10 juniors who went to a dancing hall without informing team officials after the curfew time at 11pm on Aug 22 are skipper Engku Abdul Malek, Kelvinder Singh, Mohamed Firdaus, Tengku Ahmad Tajuddin, Mohamed Suffian, Mohamed Shahrun Nabil, Mohamed Sallehin, Mohamed Fakhrulradzi, Mohamed Radzi Rahim and S. Selvaraju.
