German coach tells why he’s back for a second spell


GERMAN Karl Heinz Weigang is no stranger to Malaysian football. He’s fondly remembered as the man who guided the national team to the 1980 Moscow Olympics. Others remember him for his antics on and off the field during his tenures with Perak and Johor. Twenty-two years on, the flamboyant coach is back as Technical Director of the FA of Malaysia (FAM). The 68-year-old coach starts his job of charting Malaysian football’s fortune today. He tells STARSPORT's Eric Samuel in a no-holds-barred interview on his views and aspirations for football in Malaysia
