SYDNEY: France coach Bernard Laporte slammed World Cup referees yesterday saying that they were destroying rugby's classic set-piece scrum.
Laporte's squad coasted through the group stage of the competition in style with four wins out of four and taking a maximum 20 points to re-establish themselves as potential winners.
