BRISBANE: South Africa's World Cup win over Samoa here yesterday ended in a bizarre security breach as a fan ran on to the pitch and tried to tackle Springbok replacement fly-half Louis Koen as he took a last-minute conversion.
Koen was unharmed, but the intruder appeared to injure himself in the incident and lay prone as referee Chris White whistled the end of the contest won 60-10 by South Africa.
