WASHINGTON: The US Food and Drug Administration on Tuesday announced that THG, the designer steroid at the centre of a new sports doping scandal, is a drug not a nutritional supplement and potentially harmful.
A statement released by the regulatory body on Tuesday said that the FDA had completed an analysis of tetrahydrogestrinone (THG) and determined it is “an unapproved new drug.”
