ROME: European champions AC Milan brushed aside their injury worries yesterday as a double second-half blast from Andrei Shevchenko took them to a 3-0 win at Sampdoria and top place in the Italian championship.
Milan are top on goal difference from previous leaders Juventus who also celebrated a victory beating Brescia 2-0 at home with Pavel Nedved and David Trezeguet scoring in the first half.
