LAKE BUENA VISTA (Florida): Japan’s Shigeki Maruyama (pic) has made a late-season leap into the top 35 money winners on the US PGA Tour, thanks largely to his victory on Sunday at the Greensboro Classic.
But Maruyama’s move comes too late for him to be considered for next month’s Presidents Cup golf showdown in South Africa between the United States and the International squad of non-European talent in a Ryder Cup-styled format.
