MALMO (Sweden): Used syringes have been taken from the hotel rooms of Sporting Lisbon players before Wednesday's UEFA Cup match with Malmo, police said yesterday.
“Syringes were seized and the matter referred to the drugs squad,” police inspector Dan Granvik said.
