DOHA: FIFA president Sepp Blatter will have a one-year extension to his term in office approved, the Africans will get to tap into a bigger pool and a new constitution for world football's governing body will also be agreed at an extraordinary FIFA Congress starting on Sunday.
Blatter, 67, who was first elected FIFA president in 1998 and overwhelmingly re-elected last year on the eve of the World Cup Finals, has already proposed that future presidential elections should not take place in the same year as the World Cup Finals.
