Survivor-style camp brings Boks together


PERTH: South Africa's players were taken to a secret bush location and forced to live rough for four days, an experience they say has made them a World Cup force. 

Coach Rudi Straeuli organised the trip in the north of South Africa just after the 30-man squad was named. Now, with a crucial Pool C match against England looming on Saturday, players are talking, albeit coyly, about their gruelling bonding session and how it has wiped away the trauma of a race scandal and team disunity.
