Sepang writes another chapter in history of motor-racing

SEPANG: Malaysian motor-sports witnessed a first with the crowning of two world champions in the Marlboro Malaysian Motorcycle Grand Prix at the Sepang F1 Circuit on Sunday – Italian Valentino Rossi in MotoGP and Spanish teenager Daniel Pedrosa in the 125cc class.

Since Malaysia first hosted a leg of the World Championships at the Batu Tiga circuit in Shah Alam in 1991, no rider in any of the three race categories has been crowned a champion.
