SEPANG: Spain’s Daniel Pedrosa took a big step towards securing his first world title when he coasted to provisional pole position in the 125cc category after the first qualifying practice in the Malaysian Motorcycle GP at the Sepang F1 track here yesterday.
The Telefonica Movistar Jnr team rider clocked 2:14.991, well ahead of second-placed Mirko Giansanti of the Matteoni Racing team coming in at 2:15.065.
