PETALING JAYA: Former world champion H. Hendrawan of Indonesia has announced his retirement from international badminton.
According to the Jakarta Post, the 31-year-old Sydney Olympic Games silver medallist, who had been plagued by injuries and had failed to regain form that won him the world title in Seville two years ago, handed his resignation letter to the All-Indonesia Badminton Association (PBSI) chairman, Tanjung Chairul, on Friday.
