LONDON: An England international, who is under investigation over an alleged gang rape of a 17-year-old, has claimed innocence, adding that he was not even at the hotel when the alleged incident happened.
The England footballer, who had been locked in meeting earlier with his team bosses, trained with his teammates yesterday. When asked about the probe, he said only: “Nice one.”
