WASHINGTON: Brazil, Norway and Canada joined Germany and Russia in the quarter-finals of the womens World Cup after the final round of first-phase matches in Groups B and C on Saturday.
Brazil, who were all but assured qualification for the knockout stages after two successive victories, drew 1-1 with France in Washington to top Group B with seven points.
