LONDON: Arsene Wenger’s defiant defence of his Arsenal players has been condemned as “an insult to people’s intelligence”, by former Manchester United fullback Denis Irwin.
Wenger has blamed the media and a knee-jerk reaction from the FA for the furore over the fracas at the end of Sunday’s match between his team and United at Old Trafford.
