AUCKLAND: One of New Zealand's provincial rugby unions on Friday admitted it was demanding NZ$10,000 from Samoa for the use of a player during next month's Rugby World Cup in Australia.
The revelation comes after both Fiji and Samoa expressed outrage over the way rugby clubs in Europe were pressuring their players not to join their national teams for the tournament.
