KUALA LUMPUR: National number one shuttler Wong Choong Hann will receive a whopping RM40,000 for becoming the first Malaysian to reach the World Championships final in Birmingham in August.
Yesterday, the National Sports Council (NSC) director-general Datuk Wira Mazlan Ahmad announced that they had made an exception for Choong Hann although the World Championships did not fall under the NSC’s incentive scheme.
