Tough for cagers to reach top eight target


PETALING JAYA: Malaysia have qualified for the Asian Basketball Championship on merit for the first time but they still face a hard time keeping up with the rest of the field in the 22nd edition of the men's tournament, which begins in Haerbin, China, tomorrow. 

The Malaysians have been drawn in Group B with South Korea, Kuwait and India. Group A features defending champions Lebanon, Uzbekistan, Hong Kong and Kazakhstan.
