Northern Ireland’s goal famine reaches a record

BELFAST: Northern Ireland's goal drought reached a record 12 games on Wednesday as they suffered a humiliating 1-0 home defeat by Armenia at Windsor Park.

They began the game sharing with Liechtenstein a record of 11 consecutive internationals without a goal and are in grave danger of finishing Group Six without a win or a goal as they travel to Greece for their final game.
