LONDON: England got the perfect send-off for the World Cup here at Twickenham on Saturday as they thrashed France 45-14 to provide a perfect riposte to the defeat by their opponents last weekend.
England ran in five tries to France's one with winger Ben Cohen scoring two of them while the visitors grabbed a consolation effort through their most impressive player Aurelien Rougerie in added time for his 11th for his country.
