MULTAN (Pakistan): Bangladesh came within one wicket of a historic first ever Test win yesterday but were thwarted by the match-saving heroics of Pakistani centurion Inzamam-ul Haq.
Inzamam’s 138 not out helped Pakistan to a 3-0 series whitewash but the home side, toiling to chase a 261-run deficit, came dangerously close to a humbling defeat at Multan cricket stadium.
