AMSTERDAM: Dutch coach Dick Advocaat has dropped midfielders Ronald de Boer and Clarence Seedorf from his squad for the Euro 2004 Group Three qualifiers against Austria and the Czech Republic over the next 10 days.
AC Milan’s Seedorf, who has won 66 caps, and De Boer, who has 67, made way for young wingers Andy van der Meijde and Arjen Robben, who Advocaat hopes will bring freshness to the Dutch attack down the flanks.
