BATAM ISLAND: Lee Tsuen Seng averted a wipe out for Malaysia in the men’s singles and qualified for the quarter-finals of the US$170,000 Indonesian Open at the Batam Badminton Stadium here yesterday.
Tsuen Seng was the sole survivor on a day when three other Malaysians – Lee Chong Wei and the Hashim brothers, Roslin and Hafiz – crashed out in the third round.
