LONDON: Arsenal sneaked ahead of Manchester United at the top of the English Premier League on Wednesday with a 2-0 defeat of Aston Villa while the champions scored just once in a win over bottom side Wolverhampton Wanderers.
United and Arsenal are the only sides to have won their first three games of the season. The London side lead the table by scoring more goals – eight to United's seven.
