RIO DE JANEIRO: Goalkeeper Marcos, who has this year been condemned to second division football, has earned a recall to the Brazil squad for their opening pair of World Cup qualifiers next month.
Marcos, who played in all seven Brazil games in last year's World Cup in Japan and South Korea and kept clean sheets on four occasions, was one of five locally-based players named by coach Carlos Alberto Parreira on Tuesday.
