PETALING JAYA: National champion Lee Chong Wei scored the biggest win of his young badminton career when he joined three other Malaysian singles players to qualify for the third round of the US$170,000 Indonesia Open at Batam Badminton Stadium yesterday.
Chong Wei, who will turn 21 in two months time, beat Singapore Open finalist and world ranked 26th China’s Chen Yu 15-7, 15-13 to qualify for the third round.
