PASIR GUDANG: Premier II champions Public Bank hauled themselves back into contention with a 2-0 win over Johor FC in a Malaysia Cup Group D match at the Pasir Gudang Stadium last night.
Ivan Ziga was again Johor FC's nemesis, scoring two goals, just like he did during the teams' Super League second round second-leg playoff clash at the same venue on Aug 16. Public Bank had then won 2-1 and eventually edged Johor FC 5-4 in a penalty shootout.
