THREE-time defending champion Maurice Greene failed to qualify for the 100-meter final yesterday, slowing down with an apparent leg injury in his semi-final heat at the World Championships.
Greene got off to a great start but started grimacing about midway through the race as the field blew past him. He finished next-to-last, limping across the line and holding the back of left leg.
