SINGAPORE: Former national badminton champion Lee Chong Wei and two other Malaysians – K. Yogendran and Kuan Beng Hong – made it to the main draw of the US$170,000 Singapore Open, which begins at the Singapore Indoor Stadium here today.
In the qualifying tournament yesterday, Chong Wei advanced with victories over Wu Yunyong of China (15-8, 13-15, 15-7) and Arvinf Bhat of India (15-12, 10-15, 15-10).
