Malaysia must win opening game to stay in the hunt


KUALA LUMPUR: The lack of quality matches could work against Malaysia when they take on their rivals in the Fifth South-East Asia (Seaba) men's basketball championship, which begins today at the Maba Stadium here. 

Malaysia will open their campaign against Vietnam (6.30pm) and they cannot afford to lose the match if they are to have the chance to make the cut for the Asian Championship, which will be played in Haerbin, China, from Sept 23-Oct 2.
