LONDON: Italian striker Paolo Di Canio has signed a one-year contract with Charlton Athletic, the Premier League club said on Monday.
The fiery 35-year-old was released by Charlton's London neighbours West Ham United at the end of last season and has since criticised the club and manager Glenn Roeder for dropping him as they slid towards relegation.
