KUALA LUMPUR: Malaysia have moved past the stage where they are just contented to host sporting events. The Youth and Sports Ministry will, in future, help in hosting only events where Malaysian athletes will not just be making up the numbers.
The minister Datuk Hishammuddin Hussein said sports administrators should look at hosting events where Malaysian athletes could competing on equal footing with the others.
