SAN DIEGO (California): Belgium's Justine Henin-Hardenne overcame a fatigued countrywoman Kim Clijsters 3-6, 6-2, 6-3, on Sunday to capture the Acura Classic hardcourt tournament here.
The third-seeded Henin-Hardenne matched Clijsters for the WTA Tour lead with her fifth title of the year. She has defeated her Fed Cup teammate in three of their last four meetings, including the French Open in June, to pull within 6-8 in the rivalry.
