KUALA LUMPUR: Defending league champions Tenaga Nasional moved closer to retaining their title when they defeated Bank Simpanan Nasional 3-2 in a crucial encounter in the Malaysia Hockey League at the Kuala Lumpur Hockey Stadium here yesterday.
The win took Tenaga to second place on 22 points but they have played two games fewer than table toppers Sapura.
