BERLIN: Bayern Munich’s German international striker Alexander Zickler is likely to be out of action for the next six months after breaking his shin in training, the German champions said on Tuesday.
The 29-year-old, who was plagued by injury last season, broke his right shin when he collided with Croatian defender Robert Kovac. Bayern’s doctor said that he would require an operation.
