PETALING JAYA: Malaysian SuperSports 600cc rider Ahmad Zamani Baharuddin of Team Petronas Sprinta Racing, feels the time is right to step up a gear and steal the FIM Asia Road Racing Championship’s premier title from Japan's Toshiyuki Hamaguchi last season.
The 27-year-old rider has often been overshadowed by his high profile compatriots, Kuan Meng Heng and two-time SuperSports 600cc champion Chia Tuck Cheong.
