PENANG: Malaysians Daniel Bego and Khoo Cai Lin smashed meet records en route to gold medals on the second day of the 5th Asean Schools Swimming Championships at the Penang International Sports Arena (PISA) yesterday.
Daniel held off a strong challenge from Thailand's Charnvudth Saengsri to win the boys’ 200m freestyle in 1:57.55s.
