KUNMING: Real Madrid marketing executives said here yesterday that they had agreed with the Asian Football Confederation (AFC) to a one-time match fee in Malaysia worth US$2.5mil before the deal was axed.
Malaysian officials last week cancelled the friendly between Real and the national team scheduled for Aug 10 because the Spanish champions wanted too much money.
