PETALING JAYA: Ngew Sin Mei rewrote her own national record in the women's triple jump event in the Thum Open in Germany on Tuesday and earned herself a place in the Vietnam SEA Games squad.
The 20-year-old leaped to a new height of 13.30m to erase her old mark of 13.20m she set in the Asian Junior championships in Bangkok last November. The SEA Games qualifying mark is 13.09m.
