Perak fall to Indonesia’s Petrokimia

JAKARTA: Two goals in a one minute blitz took the sting out of a 10-men Perak side who went down 3-0 to Petrokimia Putra of Indonesia in the third and fourth placing match of the Asean Club championship at the Senayan Stadium in Jakarta yesterday.

Perak, with several players recovering from dehydration due to typhoid, had held their own early in the match, trailing only 1-0 at halftime with the goal from Brazilian Rivaldo Costa in the 36th minute.
