KUALA LUMPUR: Fans for the FA Premier League Asia Cup matches at the National Stadium in Bukit Jalil here from July 24-27 have been advised to adhere to traffic rules.

KL Traffic Police Chief Supt Ahmad Shamsuri Ahmad Mukri said yesterday that vehicles parked in non-designated areas and those found obstructing traffic would be towed away.

He added that about 100 traffic policemen would be deployed along roads leading to the stadium, especially on Sunday, the final day of the tournament.

Ahmad Shamsuri also advised the fans to use public transport to reduce congestion on roads leading to the stadium.

He said that vehicles without special stickers would be directed to designated parking areas in Zones B, D, E and F and those with special stickers and stadium staff would be allowed to park in Zone C.

Ahmad Shamsuri advised motorists using the Sukom Interchange (Sri Petaling) to park their vehicles near the National Hockey Stadium and Zone F, while those using the Puchong Link should use Zones D and E. – Bernama
