LONDON: Nine cities have formally submitted their applications to host the 2012 Summer Olympics, Games chiefs said yesterday.
Havana, Istanbul, Leipzig, London, Madrid, Moscow, New York, Paris and Rio de Janeiro all made the July 15th deadline to complete the heavyweight line-up of applicant cities.
